modeMD delivers an integrated service providing electronic
charge capture at point-of-care and then seamless, secure
delivery of these to your billing office.
Replacing paper charge sheets with an electronic version enables
more accurate and timely delivery of charge sheet information.
Key patient demographic, diagnosis and treatment information
is collected by modeMD including full ICD and CPT codes.
This information is then transferred from your doctor’s PDA to
the modeMD secure data center. You are sent an email notifying
you of this upload - you can then logon to the modeMD website
using a standard web browser and download the charge information.
So much of the follow-up that you have been doing to reconcile
hand written charge sheets is now eliminated. Also you receive
the charge sheets the same day your doctor visits the patients -
speeding up claims submission, collections and improving cash flow.
