modeMD Hospital Products
modeMD Hospital is delivered as two integrated components. The first is a
sophisticated Palm™ handheld application that is used to collect and
analyze patient demographics, diagnostic, visit and treatment information
as the Physician rounds. The second is a series of web services that
enable the physician to "network" with colleagues and his billing office.
modeMD Hospital may be purchased either as the standalone PDA-based
product only or as an integrated service including the PDA product
plus all the web services.

Which product should you purchase?
The modeMD Hospital standalone product is ideal for physicians
who are relatively self-contained in their practice and have
limited, or no, cross coverage or consult work, and who hand their
charge sheets to their billing office each day. By using modeMD these
physicians will see more accurate billings and improved collections
from more rapid billing submissions.
The modeMD Hospital network version is ideal for physicians who have
a moderate to heavy hospital content to their practice and who do cross
coverage and consult work. They will see significantly increased billings
using modeMD, and improved cash-flow and collections by daily electronic
transfer of charge sheets to their billing office. The incremental monthly
cost will more than pay for itself. For example if it normally takes you 2
weeks to get your charge sheets back to your billing office then if you synchronize
with modeMD every day the improved cash-flow benefit to you will be more than the
monthly charge.
