modeMD delivers an integrated service providing
electronic charge capture at point-of-care and then
seamless, secure delivery of these to your billing office.
Replacing paper charge sheets with an electronic version
enables more accurate and timely delivery of charge sheet
information.
Key patient demographic, diagnosis and treatment information
is collected by modeMD. This enables you to save time in for
example cross coverage handoff, as well as instantly recalling
vital information on existing active, discharged and cross-covered
patients.
The modeMD architecture is built around a web enabled standalone
PDA application that can connect directly to another PDA and connects
to a web-based server. Key factors in the design of the system
include an intuitive user interface that allows rapid access to patient
information, secure storage and transmission of this information,
and a highly scalable and reliable web server infrastructure. The
architecture is built around open standards, is fully HIPAA compliant,
and is PDA platform and communications technology agnostic.
